Groundwater
Management Plan
San Luis Obispo County recently completed an Integrated Regional Water Management Plan. The plan contains groundwater monitoring and management objectives for the groundwater basins in the County, including the Paso Robles Groundwater Basin. In response to these objectives, The City of Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo County are leading the preparation of a groundwater management plan (GMP) for the Paso Robles Groundwater Basin.
Parties interested in the GMP are encouraged to participate in the planning process by attending public meetings scheduled by the Groundwater Advisory Committee.

Adoption of Speed Zones
On Tuesday, January 6, 2009 the City Council of the City of Paso Robles will be considering the adoption of an Updated Speed Zone Survey [pdf:2.5mb/80pp] and authorizing enforcement of posted speeds accordingly. The meeting will be held at 7:30 pm at the City Council Chambers, 1000 Spring Street, Paso Robles.
Background:
The City is
required to update its speed zone studies every five
years.
The City retained TPG Consulting to complete an update of the City’s radar speed surveys and an analysis of all posted speed zones within the City limits.
The Police Department and Public Works have reviewed the speed studies and concur with the recommendations in the report, “2008 Speed Zone Survey Update” [pdf:2.5mb/80pp] dated November 2008. Hard copies are also available for review in the Library and in the Public Works Dept (1000 Spring St).

This Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) has been prepared to identify and assess the anticipated environmental impacts for the Parking Lot Sulfur Spring Remediation Project (project).
