Kids’ All American Fishing Derby

Back again for the 6th year, this free event is for kids ages 5 – 16 who can compete to win either 1st, 2nd or 3rd place for the biggest fish! There will be free gifts as well as drawings for prizes – if you don’t win one fishing! Please pre-register by April 11 at the Centennial Park Registration Office at 600 Nickerson Drive in Paso Robles. Space is limited so register now! Questions? Call 237-3988. Join us for a day at the races! Applications for participants will be available at their schools or the Public Safety Center in May. Youths planning to participate are encouraged to bring their bike helmet. Details in the summer guide.

Baseball - Jr. Giants Program

Paso Robles Police Activities League (PAL), in collaboration with California Police Activities League and the San Francisco Giants Baseball Club, is pleased to present "Junior Giants Baseball" for boys & girls. The intent of the Junior Giants Baseball program is to promote and develop the fundamentals of baseball, as well as self-esteem, team-work, and leadership.

This program is a "cost-free", coach-pitch league utilizing a pitching machine. All necessary equipment for play is provided by Paso Robles PAL, San Francisco Giants Baseball and ATEC Athletic Training Equipment. Parents are encouraged to help with the program.

Participant applications will be available at Paso Robles schools or the Public Safety Center. This FREE recreational activity offers youth an opportunity to interact with officers of the Paso Robles Police Department. Pre-registration is required. Call 227-7446.
