Downtown Paso Robles will be alive with music, art and wine in 15
separate tasting rooms within walking distance of each other every
Saturday evening in August from 5 to 7 p.m. Brochures with maps will
be available – just follow the flags with the PAWS printed on them
or follow the paw prints on the sidewalks to an enjoyable evening
before you settle down for dinner at one of our fantastic
restaurants.
“This is a fun event and presents us with an easy opportunity to
showcase our local winemakers while featuring local artists and

Since its birth in 2004, the (NSHA)
has been putting the ‘show’ back into ‘horse show’ by planning and
producing stock horse competitions such as the NSHA Snaffle Bit
Futurity and World’s Richest Stock Horse Competition.

want to miss the 4th Annual National Stock Horse Association
Futurity & World’s Richest Stock Horse Competition August 17-24,

21 years as a band, Marley’s Ghost is well-traveled and
well-seasoned alike. With eight albums under their belts, they have
earned the mud on their musical boots. Since forming in the mid-80s,
this eclectic band has become a legend. They have built a singular
reputation among discerning roots-music lovers for their
instrumental virtuosity, ultra-tight four-part harmonies, and

Downtown City Park
The City of Paso Robles, REC Foundation and J. Lohr Vineyards and
are pleased to welcome the original world sound of Up In The Air
at the City Park in downtown
Paso Robles. Their family-friendly music covers a wide range of
material and creates a danceable blend of pop, jazz, and rock
influenced by Latin and African rhythms.
Up In The Air will be presented free to the public thanks to the
sponsorship of Heritage Oaks Bank. Chubby Chandler’s will be
offering hors d’oeuvres for sale, and J. Lohr wine, beer, water, and
soda pop will also be available. The REC Foundation encourages
you to purchase beverages onsite, as all proceeds from drink sales
are used to enhance parks and recreation in Paso Robles. Each week
prize drawings valued at $200 or more and opportunities for a grand
prize drawing for a cruise for 2 to Mexico are available.

Paso Robles Olive Festival

Olivas de Oro, producers of premium olive oils and olive trees,
presents the 5th annual Paso Robles Olive Festival, a Paso Robles
Main Street Association event, in the Downtown City Park. Local wineries and
breweries will offer tastings as well as olive oil vendors.
Olive-inspired food will be prepared and served in Olive Festival
Culinary Row. Cooking demonstrations and a cook-off will be held in
the “Outdoors’ Kitchen Stadium” in the park. Home chefs can enter
the Olive Dish Contest. They can also submit recipes for the
Olive Festival Cookbook. There will be live music along with free
olive oil ice cream. Enjoy arts and crafts vendors, children’s
activities, and olive product vendors.

Robles, REC Foundation and J. Lohr Vineyards and Wines, are pleased
to present the energetic and SLO County favorite - Sugar Daddy Swing
Kings! Their horn-infused rhythmic madness, inspired by such
greats as Cab Calloway, Louis Prima, and Louis Jordan, are a delight
to listeners and dancers of all ages. The excitement of Sugar Daddy
Swing Kings’ music will culminate in the awarding of the grand prize
drawing for a cruise for 2 to Mexico. Opportunities are only $5 and
are available throughout the concert series.
